On one level
No stairs. No lifts. No thresholds to plan around.
Tynefield Court was purpose-built on a single floor. That is not a detail on a list — for someone using an electric wheelchair it decides whether a home is possible at all. Every bedroom, lounge, the dining room, the conservatory and the garden doors are on the same level as each other.

The care we provide
Two registrations, one home.
We are registered both for adults over 65 and for adults aged 18 to 65. That means general nursing care for older people, and specialist care for younger adults living with neurological conditions, under one roof and one nursing team.
A registered nurse is on duty 24 hours a day, and all care is overseen by a registered nurse who draws up a plan of care based on need. Residents and relatives are encouraged to get involved in planning that care.

Drinks can be made at any time of day. The dining room next door serves a choice at every meal, with special diets catered for.
